It's been some time since you've heard anything from me. I moved. Yep, you knew it was coming too. As titled, this is blog will be about my new home...Asheville NC.
Let me just start with this, you haven't seen Asheville if you only visited the Biltmore Estate. Now don't get me wrong, that part is very fun to see. I saw it when I was a kid, probably in the early 80's. Living here is still very much new for me and yes I'm still looking for employment. I'm sure that will come. Let's talk more about what I've seen thus far.
Local restaurants, local stores, all kinds. Things that you wouldn't think a town in the mountains would have...but they are here. From Papa's Pizza, Universal Joint to a new not opened yet vegan place called Plant (more to come about this place). It has historic areas, artsy areas, open gardens and the list really could go on for miles. A local brew, Highland Brewing Company has great beers. Like I said, the list can go on and on.
The next time you and the family are planning a trip, come to Asheville NC. There is always something going on and you will not be disappointed. I know I will be talking more about what I see and do and I would love for you to join me. If you're in town let me know.
