September 11, 2001 - Ten Years Later

Do you remember that day? Did you have mixed feelings that day? Did you cry, get upset, get mad? I know I experienced all those emotions. I was actually so scared, I sat down and started crying. "What in the world is going on?"

Did you lose a friend, loved one that day? If you did, your day was even harder than mine. I couldn't imagine what you went through and on this the tenth anniversary, how you are feeling today.

What about those men and women that during those chaotic times, went back up in those buildings to rescue those in need? How about those brave men and women on that plane that went down in Pennsylvania? Those men and women who helped in clean up. How about those men and women that went over seas and continue to do so in our military to continue to protect our freedom? Sacrifice? I would say so.

On this day, remember how fragile and precious life is. Take your own time in your own personal way to remember those who lost their life.  Put aside those petty differences. Let's not argue, quarrel or fight with each other. Let's define what we are today... The United States of America. God bless you all in this day of remembrance.
